Michael Truncale re-appointed to the Hutchison—Cornyn Federal Judicial Selection Committee and is re-elected to the State Republican Executive Committee.

Michael Truncale, a litigation partner, was re-appointed to the Hutchison—Cornyn Federal Judicial Selection Committee.  This committee is made up of a select group of attorneys from across the State charged with the responsibility of screening and interviewing individuals for the positions of United States federal district judgeships and the United States Attorneys throughout Texas.  United States Senators play a significant, Constitutional role in the selection of federal judges and U.S. Attorneys.

Michael was also re-elected to the State Republican Executive Committee at the Republican State Convention held in Dallas on June 11-12, 2010.  Michael continues to represent Texas Senate District 4 on the SREC, which includes Montgomery (The Woodlands), northeast Harris (Houston), Liberty, Chambers, Jefferson (Beaumont) and Orange Counties.  As a member of the SREC, he has the opportunity to work closely with elected officials on the local, state, and national levels.
